IT Governance Expert:

We are seeking an IT Governance Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the IT governance framework and risk management processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the IT governance framework and risk management processes.
  • Ensure that IT operations align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Identify, assess, and manage IT risks, focusing on both operational and strategic aspects.
  • Implement and monitor risk controls and mitigation strategies, ensuring that IT risks are within the organization's risk appetite.
  • Perform ongoing testing and monitoring of IT controls to ensure they are effective and compliant.
  • Track and report on key risk indicators (KRIs) and control effectiveness metrics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, information security, or related certifications.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT governance, risk management, or compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL), risk management methodologies, regulatory and legal requirements, and industry practice (ISO 27001/MAS TRM/TRMG/NIST framework/PS Act etc.).

About the Role:

The successful candidate will play a key part of the 1.5 line of defense, bridging the first and second lines by overseeing IT risk management and controls. They will support the second and third line of defense to address IT risks, drive initiatives to support risk management and compliance, facilitate audits and ensure the effectiveness of controls.
