Actuarial Risk Management Expert

The company seeks an experienced Actuary to lead risk management initiatives, leveraging technical expertise and analytical skills to drive business growth.

This pivotal role will involve driving impact across Reinsurance Pricing and Reserving, collaborating with cross-functional teams to tackle complex challenges, and shaping the future of risk with a leading industry player.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain pricing models for reinsurance treaties across multiple lines of business
  • Provide pricing insights and portfolio analytics to support business decisions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement actuarial reserving models and processes
  • Mentor and develop actuarial talent within the organization
  • Coordinate timely delivery of actuarial inputs to finance teams for reporting requirements


Requirements:
  • Fellow of a recognized actuarial institute (e.g., FIA, FSA, FIAA)
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Actuarial studies
  • Minimum 8 years of General Insurance actuarial experience, with at least 5 years in a reinsurance pricing role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in actuarial software and tools


Desired Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with ResQ and/or other reserving software packages
  • APAC reinsurance industry market experience preferred
