Restaurant Operations Manager

This is a highly responsible position overseeing the daily operations of a restaurant outlet, reporting to an Area Manager. The primary goal is to achieve profitable sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences by ensuring a high level of service quality and food safety standards are consistently met.
  • Manage all aspects of the outlet's floor operation, including hosting, serving, cash handling, and inventory management.
  • Lead and motivate a team of staff members to achieve individual and team performance goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, costs, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct regular stock checks and ensure that ingredients are stored and used according to First Expired First Out (FEFO) guidelines.
  • Ensure the outlet adheres to strict health and safety protocols and maintains a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all sections of the outlet and monitor compliance.
  • Manage workforce scheduling, recruitment, training, and reporting, as well as identifying and addressing any staffing shortages or excesses.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of menu items and be able to communicate this effectively to staff during training sessions.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field
  • At least 5 years of working experience in a related field
  • Preferably a manager with experience in food/beverage/restaurant services or equivalent
