Sales and Business Development Manager for Consumer Products

Job DescriptionAs a Sales and Business Development Manager for Consumer Products, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our presence in the market. Your primary objective will be to achieve the company's strategic objectives by leveraging your knowledge of our products and categories, internal and external sales and marketing data, customer management, negotiation, trade operations, and influencing skills.
You will develop, implement, and monitor business plans to achieve targets in Modern Trade accounts, manage Trade Promotional budget and allocated Trade Fund to generate desired profitable sales mix, and provide daily customer engagement and business building activities to customers in assigned regions.
In addition, you will initiate, develop, implement, and evaluate promotion strategies and activities with assigned customers according to annual sales, marketing, and category plans, and establish strategic, cross-functional relationships and regular dialogue with key stakeholders.
Essential Requirements- At least 3-5 years sales experience required (preferably in FMCG).
- Minimum tertiary education (minimum qualification: Diploma).
- Bilingual (where applicable).
- Enjoy working with people across multi-functional teams.
- Some commercial experience in sales would be an advantage.
- Excited by ambiguity and comfortable with 'set-up' situations where the remit is to define the task at hand.
- Principled and values-driven leader who sets expectations of excellence for team while leading from the front and with empathy to enable team to achieve their goals.
- Consumer/Customer-first mindset that operates from first principles to find the best path to achieve key business objectives.
We offer a competitive salary of SGD 120,000 - SGD 180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits such as:
