Job Title:

Mould Design Excellence Manager

  • A senior position requiring strategic planning, technical expertise and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:

This role combines mould design, innovation, and leadership. As a Mould Design Excellence Manager, you will drive excellence in mould design while ensuring top-tier quality in every design.

  • Lead process optimization initiatives focusing on lead time, cost, and quality.
  • Define and execute improvements to base mould designs executed at suppliers.
  • Be accountable for specific deliveries and quality of mould designs on the external platform.
  • Act as 3D/2D review approver for mould designs from external supplier platforms.
Requirements:

To succeed in this challenging role, you will need:

  • Qualified Toolmaker and Mould Designer experience.
  • Education in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in plastic injection mould design.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with CAD systems, 3D design, Microsoft Office, and SAP.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to think strategically.
  • Experience collaborating with remote teams and cross-cultural teams.
