Procurement Director Job Description

The role of Procurement Director is a critical position that involves leading procurement planning and execution in alignment with organizational strategy and policies. The Procurement Director will partner with stakeholders to define and validate requirements for goods and services, identify and evaluate reliable vendors and suppliers, manage vendor negotiations and contracts to ensure value for money, review and prepare procurement reports and approvals, and monitor and improve procurement processes for enhanced governance.

This includes:

  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with business objectives
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Managing procurement budgets and costs to ensure optimal efficiency
  • Ensuring compliance with procurement laws and regulations
Key Skills and Qualifications
