Clinical Trial Manager Position

The role of Clinical Trial Manager involves overseeing the delivery of clinical studies to meet contractual requirements. The individual in this position will work closely with clinical teams to improve patient outcomes by bringing new treatments to market more quickly.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in bid defense presentations and lead presentations for smaller, less complex regional studies.
  • Deliver and manage smaller, less complex regional studies.
  • Develop integrated study management plans with the core project team.
  • Accountable for the execution of clinical studies while optimizing speed, quality, and cost of delivery.
  • Set objectives for the core project team and/or sub-team(s) according to agreed-upon contract, strategy, and approach.
  • Collaborate with other functional groups within the company to support milestone achievement and manage study issues and obstacles.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or a related field.
  • 6 years of prior relevant experience, including > 2 years of project management experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of job area and broad knowledge of other related job areas.
  • Knowledge of clinical trials, including conduct and applicable regulatory requirements.

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, including good command of the English language, and strong presentation skills. You should also have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work through others to deliver results to appropriate quality and timeline metrics. Leadership skills are essential, as well as the ability to make decisions and bring clarity to disparate information to inform actions and drive results.
