Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Consultant in the Energy Practice. As a key member of our project teams, you will be responsible for conducting detailed fact-based analyses, developing strategic solutions, and providing intellectual leadership to drive business growth.

The successful candidate will have a strong academic background in chemical engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 6 years' experience in the energy & chemical industry. You will possess excellent communication and persuasion skills, with the ability to interact at high levels and manage stakeholders effectively.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading BCG project teams to deliver strategic solutions and drive business growth
  • Conducting market research and analysis to identify opportunities for transformation
  • Developing and managing client relationships in the energy & chemical sector
  • Providing support to energy & chemical transformation projects within the oil & gas and petrochemical sectors

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the energy & chemical value chains, market trends, and key applications, with experience running large programs, transforming business units, and managing teams end-to-end.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree or MBA from a top-tier institution
  • A minimum of 6 years' experience in the energy & chemical industry or a combination of industry and consulting experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop hypotheses and drive results
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills, with proficiency in Southeast Asian languages desirable but not essential
  • Experience working with well-functioning, advanced global businesses in the energy & chemical sector
  • Deep understanding of the energy & chemical value chains, market trends, and key applications
