Urban Analyst

The Housing Development Board is a leading public housing authority in Singapore, committed to creating homes and towns that form a quality living environment for all residents. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the nation's skyline and landscape.

This exciting opportunity allows you to work with vast amounts of data to derive actionable insights and drive transformation in the urban environment. You will be involved in multi-disciplinary analytical research, utilising emerging forms of data and new computational approaches to establish evidence-based findings.

You will be responsible for data acquisition and fusion, driving the application of 3D building models, and exploring new techniques and algorithms to analyse the urban environment. Working closely with stakeholders, you will scope and undertake analytical use cases to transform data into valuable knowledge and actionable insights.

With a strong focus on sustainability and health & well-being, you will also develop and deploy AI models / dashboards to engage and deliver value to stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Data Science and Business Analytics
  • Computer Science and Applied Mathematics / Statistics

As a successful candidate, you will possess strong analytical skills, good problem-solving aptitude, and independence. You should have at least 2 years of relevant hands-on experience and be proficient in coding/scripting in various programming languages, such as Python/R, and data visualisation/storytelling techniques.
