The Anatomical Pathology Team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pathologist

Job Description:

We are looking for an individual who can perform accurate and timely diagnosis of specimens, including biopsies and resections. You will interpret histological findings and provide comprehensive reports to aid in patient management and treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform accurate and timely diagnosis of specimens, including biopsies and resections.
  • Interpret histological findings and provide comprehensive reports to aid in patient management and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, oncologists, and gastroenterologists, to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Participate in quality assurance programs and initiatives to maintain high standards of laboratory practice.
  • Contribute to research activities and scholarly pursuits of pathology.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must possess a basic medical degree AND/OR a postgraduate medical qualification which is registrable with the relevant licensing body/organisation. You must also have specialty training which is recognised by the relevant Specialists Accreditation Board.

You should preferably have working experience in the country of origin as an accredited and licensed medical specialist. Additionally, you must meet English language proficiency requirements if the medium of instruction for your basic medical qualification was not in English.

Education Level:

A basic Medical Degree and Relevant Postgraduate Qualification are required for this position.
