Project Manager for Advanced Communication Systems

A leading technology company specializes in secure communication systems, designing and building cutting-edge solutions for critical applications. We are seeking an experienced project manager to oversee the full lifecycle of our advanced communication systems projects.

The Opportunity

As a senior project manager, you will be responsible for guiding and managing all aspects of our communication systems projects, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, and quality assurance.

  • Project Execution: Lead and manage all aspects of communication systems projects.
  • Stakeholder Management: Foster strong relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers.
  • Commercial & Contractual Oversight: Supervise commercial and contractual agreements, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks effectively.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales teams on tender management and contract preparation, and with interdisciplinary engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration and execution.

Requirements:

  • Experience & Education: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related field, with at least 8 years of experience managing complex projects within Air Traffic Control, Naval, or Defense Communication Systems.
  • Professional Certification: A Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PMI, or IPMA Level C).
  • Technical Acumen: Extensive expertise in systems engineering models, integrating diverse technologies, and managing cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
  • Business Savvy: Strong business acumen and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively bridge technology and business objectives.
  • Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, highly organized, results-oriented, excellent communication and collaboration skills.
