Job Summary:

This is a leadership role that requires strategic planning, effective team management, and exceptional communication skills. As the Marrow Donor Partnerships and Registry Leadership position at BMDP, you will be responsible for overseeing donor recruitment efforts, fostering partnerships, and managing the marrow donor database.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and Implement Strategic Plans: Formulate below-the-line strategies to leverage partnerships through corporate, community, education, and government channels, achieving donor recruitment and public education opportunities.
  2. Innovative Donor Recruitment and Public Education Strategies: Drive cutting-edge initiatives to fruition, ensuring seamless execution and effective results.
  3. Team Management: Develop, mentor, and lead the donor recruitment team to achieve strategic objectives, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  4. Curriculum Development and Training: Oversee the recruitment curriculum, training, and engagement of ambassadors to support the team's objectives and the charity's goals of building a volunteer database.
  5. Data Accuracy and Integrity: Ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout the swab processing operations and overall management of the marrow donor register.
  6. Event Operations: Plan and execute the annual flagship event – Match for Life – ensuring its success and efficient execution.
  7. Support and Guidance: Provide support and guidance as needed in recruitment initiatives and review departmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with BMDP's policies and regulations.

Technical Skills:

  • Copywriting and Editing: Develop compelling content to engage audiences and promote the organization's mission.
  • MS Office: Proficiently use Microsoft Office applications to manage tasks, communicate with teams, and create reports.
  • Adaptability: Quickly adapt to new technologies and platforms to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Organisation Acumen: Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Project Management and Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, driving project success and delivering results.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Hold a degree in Business, Communications, or Marketing.
  • Minimum 8 Years of Experience: Possess at least 8 years of experience in business development, client relationship management, analytics, and supervisory roles.
  • Background in Business Development: Proven track record of driving business growth, developing partnerships, and expanding market share.
  • Client Relationship Management: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Analytics (Data Analytics, Qualitative & Quantitative Research): Skilled in data analysis, research, and interpretation, using tools like Excel, SQL, and statistical software.
  • Supervisory Experience: Previous experience in supervisory roles, mentoring teams, and guiding individuals towards career growth.

Average Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per annum.
