Culinary Team Member

The Assistant Cook is a key member of our kitchen team responsible for assisting the Head Chef in food preparation, cleaning and maintaining the kitchen area. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to start their culinary career or gain experience in a busy kitchen environment. As an Assistant Cook, you will be working closely with our chefs to prepare and cook meals, clean equipment and maintain high standards of hygiene.
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual who can work effectively as part of a team and take direction from senior staff members. If you have a passion for cooking and are eager to learn and develop your skills, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:- Assisting the Head Chef in food preparation, including chopping, slicing and dicing ingredients
- Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment and utensils
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene throughout the kitchen area
- Working effectively as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve targets
- Providing excellent customer service and responding to queries and complaints in a professional manner
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment or training in a culinary school
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- High standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness
