Job Summary

The Senior Technician/Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of fuel farm activities and maintenance tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations. This individual is responsible for preparing daily logs, supervising troubleshooting processes conducted by contractors, and reporting equipment abnormalities to the maintenance teams. In emergency situations, they follow established emergency response plans as an Emergency Response Team member.

This role requires a physically fit and meticulous team player who can operate a variety of aviation support equipment and vehicles for military and commercial aviation ground support operations. The successful candidate will participate in on-the-job training programs and work effectively with others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct fuel farm operations, including fuel quality checks, circulation and draw fuel samples, loading and unloading of fuel, recording fuel transactions, and daily top-up of refueller.
  • Operate fuel bridger and aviation specialized vehicles (ASV), performing aircraft defuelling and refuelling, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Perform maintenance operations, including daily inspection and functional checks on GFE/GFP, monitoring Government Furnished Equipment and Government Furnished Property for scheduled preventive maintenance, and performing maintenance on in-house equipment, facilities, and vehicles in adherence to SOPs and Work Instructions (WI).
  • Ensure operational excellence and compliance with quality and safety standards, attending daily briefings, preparing quality and safety reports, and participating in audits as required.
  • Manage customer experience and relationships, performing day-to-day operations of shift according to customer and contractual requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, participating in digitization roadmaps of business unit.
  • Manage people, finance, and organizational development, participating in on-the-job and required regulated training for qualification maintenance, monitoring and submitting documentation for security clearance, and performing OT/Call Out assignment.
Requirements
  • NITEC and 5 years of experience preferred.
  • Class 4 and/or Class 5 Driving License and/or Forklift License.
  • Prior experience with Aviation preferred.
  • Ability to use Apps and have cybersecurity awareness.
