Job Title: Senior Network Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Architect to join our team. As a key member of our network infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our global network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, VPN, Wireless, and Firewall.
  • Network Performance Monitoring: Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
  • Device Configuration: Configure and manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, ACI, Cato Remote VPN, and Akamai Guardicore Microsegmentation.
  • Support and Maintenance: Support network upgrades and migrations, including planning, testing, and documentation. Collaborate with other IT teams to support system integration and resolve cross-functional issues.
  • Documentation and Communication: Maintain accurate network documentation, including diagrams, IP addressing, and change logs. Respond to incidents and outages, including root cause analysis and preventive measures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Networking Experience: Proven hands-on network operation and engineering experience is a must.
  • Networking Protocols: Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS).
  • OSI or TCP/IP Model: Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model.
  • Monitoring Tools: Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostics, and network analytics tools.
  • Enterprise Network Architecture: Strong knowledge in network design including round, switching, and security. Experience in enterprise network architecture planning or design concepts such as network segmentation or network segregation is mandatory.
  • SDN Solutions: Experience managing SDN Soluon (E.g. Cisco ACI), Firewall, and Load Balancers would be required.
  • ITIL Framework: Knowledge of ITIL framework and principles.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 5 Years of Experience: At least 5 years of experience in network infrastructure operation, design, and build, project implementation, and delivery.
  • Network Security Operations: Proven operational experience in managing network and security operations.
  • Network Components: Experience in managing network components like Cisco ACI, Forney Firewall, F5 Load Balancers, DNS, Aruba Wireless, Aruba Clearpass, and Solarwinds are essential.

Qualifications:

  • Certification: Professional certification is essential (e.g. CCNP).
  • Education: University degree in Computer Science or a related subject.
  • Programming Skills: Programming skills with Python will be advantageous.
