Early Childhood Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as an Early Childhood Care Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care and education to young children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and interact with children aged 4-6 years old, promoting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Plan and execute engaging programmes and activities that foster social, emotional, and academic growth in children.
  • Cultivate positive values and guide children towards becoming confident and capable individuals.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Build strong relationships with parents to discuss their child's progress and provide support when needed.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of each child, monitoring for signs of ill health or emotional distress.
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to children when required.
  • Maintain order in the classroom and on the playground, adhering to set standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • WSQ Student Care Centre - Early Years (EY) certification.
  • Advanced Certificate in Early Childhood Care & Education (ACECCE).
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education (DECCE-T) or equivalent.
Requirements:
  • One year of experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
