Job Overview

As a KYC Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our client's information is accurate and compliant with local regulations. This includes conducting thorough reviews of customer data and monitoring records to ensure timely updates.

  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of client information, including scheduled and unscheduled checks for various risk classes.
  • Monitor and track customer records, guaranteeing adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies for expiring records, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruptions.
  • Highlight potential AML risks to senior management for further review and analysis.
  • Collaborate with the bank's teams to ensure that all necessary due diligence is carried out for customer accounts.
  • Determine if accounts are within scope, conducting thorough investigations and due diligence as needed.
  • Verify customer information, including address, employment, and connectivity to PEP/SPF (Sanctions Screening).
  • Partner with internal units to guarantee adequate due diligence is performed for customer accounts and documentation reviews.
  • Request additional information or clarification from customers as necessary.
  • Maintain high quality standards (90% and above) for all KYC reviews undertaken.
  • Highlight technical issues or procedural clarifications to managers for further review and guidance.
  • Perform Quality Control (QC) reviews on files prior to submission, addressing any discrepancies identified during QC reviews.
Requirements

We are seeking an individual with:

  • 5-8 years of experience in KYC/AML/Due Diligence or banking, preferably.
  • Knowledge of AML/KYC policies and procedures.
  • Subject Matter Expertise in AML/KYC operations.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze large amounts of data.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate disposition.
  • Adherence to compliance standards.
  • Detailed, well-organized, self-starter capable of working independently.
  • Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and results-oriented team player.
