Product Engineering Director

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Product Engineering Director to lead our product design, development and engineering activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing pre-engineering, product design development of new products, performing value analysis, value engineering and troubleshooting, as well as guiding a team of Product Design engineers in performing data analysis, yield enhancement, product cost reduction and device reliability improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop market-specific connector products and optimizing product designs and yields.
  • Initiate and implement improvement processes to improve efficiency and sustainability in productions.
  • Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders, and building relationships with suppliers and customers.
  • Ensure processes meet quality standards and safety compliance requirements.


Requirements

  • Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering and or other related certifications.
  • Possess relevant connectors industry knowledge and expertise.
  • At least 8 years of experience involved with product engineering (design and development).
  • Experienced in leading a team.


Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 8:15am to 5:30pm
