System Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced System Support Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

As a System Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing end-to-end support for our applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless application migration and implementation. You will apply cloud computing skills to deploy upgrades and fixes across AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms, develop and implement continuous integration and deployment processes using Git, Jenkins, and Sonarqube tools, design and maintain automated build, software release, and application deployment scripts, collaborate with team members to improve engineering tools, systems, and procedures, ensuring data security and integrity, conduct regular system-level vulnerability security scans and harden system and application platforms, and liaise with 3rd party vendors to manage and resolve technical issues and incidents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply cloud computing skills to deploy upgrades and fixes across AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms.
  • Develop and implement continuous integration and deployment processes using Git, Jenkins, and Sonarqube tools.
  • Design and maintain automated build, software release, and application deployment scripts.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve engineering tools, systems, and procedures, ensuring data security and integrity.
  • Conduct regular system-level vulnerability security scans and harden system and application platforms.
  • Liaise with 3rd party vendors to manage and resolve technical issues and incidents.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in Linux/Windows Systems Administration.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Nexus, and Nexus IQ.
  • Experience with container platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift, and Quay.
  • Familiarity with AWS Cloud services configuration, including EC2, Network Load Balancer, and Application Load Balancer.
  • Past experience in virtualisation / container technology and setting up continuous integration / continuous deployment processes and tools.
  • Understanding of networking protocols and services, e.g. SFTP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, routing.
