Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the Group Head of FP&A, the Senior Finance Analyst will collaborate with Business Unit Managers and support teams to deliver essential guidelines, strategies, plans, processes, and controls for regional and divisional brand P&Ls.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Budgeting, Forecasting & Variance Analysis

  • Conduct thorough analysis of revenue and profitability by brand, customer, channel, and market, providing insightful commentary.
  • Offer analytical support for cross-functional initiatives, ad hoc projects, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Perform systematic variance analysis with insightful commentary and business insights to align with business objectives.

B. Financial Reporting

  • Ensure overall accuracy in P&L reporting during month-end closing, including journal preparation and collaboration with the Shared Services Team, followed by review with the Senior Business Controller.
  • Prepare monthly management reports and review results with management.
  • Lead the actualization and analysis of monthly P&L, KPIs, and present divisional brand P&L highlights with recommended action plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the local accounting team to ensure the integrity and accuracy of accounting records, in compliance with general accounting principles.

C. Business Partnership

  • Act as the primary finance business partner and controller to support business operations, collaborating with business teams to achieve corporate objectives and provide decision support.
  • Prepare cash flow actuals and projections for the Group.

D. Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and statutory requirements, including audit, tax, and corporate secretarial preparations and inquiries.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax consultants, corporate secretaries, banks, and other external parties.
  • Establish robust processes and ensure adequate internal controls are in place.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of post-qualification experience in Finance and Controlling; regional exposure is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in the FMCG industry is highly desirable, though not required.
  • Commercially minded with a pragmatic approach and a keen attention to detail.
  • Creative and innovative mindset, consistently seeking new ways to enhance current activities.
