About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Research Fellow to contribute to our research efforts in the Nano-Bio Interface Lab.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing scientific projects on nanoscale membrane dynamics in cells.

They will also write scientific publications and grants, review and curate literature, collaborate with research groups, and supervise junior members.

The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering or related disciplines, with a strong background in micro/nanofabrication, physical modeling, and advanced microscopy.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop scientific projects on nanoscale membrane dynamics in cells;
  • Write scientific publications and grants, review and curate literature;
  • Collaborate with research groups, team members, and supervise junior members;
  • Coordinate laboratory operations, including ordering supplies and maintenance;
  • Train laboratory personnel, students, and visiting scientists;
  • Ensure compliance with laboratory safety standards and guidelines;
Qualifications:
  • A Ph.D. in biomedical engineering or related disciplines;
  • Strong background in micro/nanofabrication, physical modeling, and advanced microscopy;
  • Recent Ph.D. graduates within 3 years of experience;
  • Experience in surface patterning, topography engineering, nano-/micro-fabrication, electron beam lithography, and nanoimprinting;
  • Desirable: experience in microbiology, biochemistry, cell biology, and biophysics;
  • Preferred: publication history of more than 2 first-authored papers in reputable journals;
