Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Senior Staff Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Centre team at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH). As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our centre.
Key Responsibilities
- As a Scrub Nurse/Circulating Nurse, you will be involved in various cardiovascular procedures, utilizing your clinical skills and knowledge to ensure safe and competent care is delivered.
- You will maintain the highest standards of surgical aseptic and infection control principles, preparing the suite for interventional procedures with attention to detail and precision.
- Your responsibilities will also include conducting patient education and cardiac rehabilitation programs, providing valuable support to patients and their families.
- In addition, you will perform related duties as required, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our team.
Requirements
- Degree in Nursing or relevant field with a strong foundation in cardiovascular nursing practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Familiarity with hospital policies and procedures, particularly those related to infection control and patient safety.
- Able to demonstrate a commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
