Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to design, implement and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS. The ideal candidate will have experience with EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda and other AWS services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS and Lambda.
  • Administer and maintain Linux-based systems in a cloud environment including CentOS, Ubuntu and RedHat.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform, Ansible or CloudFormation.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, identify potential issues and take proactive measures to address them.
  • Implement and manage security best practices for cloud resources and Linux-based systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in either Linux administration or AWS cloud required.
  • Proven experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, VPC, IAM, Lambda, RDS, S3 and other AWS services.
  • Strong proficiency in Linux system administration.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible or AWS CloudFormation.

Additional responsibilities include optimizing cloud resources for cost-efficiency and performance, troubleshooting and resolving system issues, and providing technical support to internal teams and clients as required.
