Job Title:

Residential ICT Trainer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Residential ICT Trainer to join our team. As a key member of our educational technology department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality ICT training programs to students in local government schools.

Your primary focus will be on planning and conducting engaging ICT lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students. You will also be required to develop and customize ICT curriculum and resources aligned with the school's ICT plan.

In addition to your teaching responsibilities, you will assist the Head of Department (ICT) in supervising and managing the Technical Assistants (TAs) and other Residential ICT Trainers. This includes tasks such as inventory management, technical support, and planning.

You will work closely with teachers to ensure seamless integration of ICT into their teaching practices. This may involve providing one-on-one guidance, workshops, or group training sessions.

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, be passionate about education, and have a strong understanding of ICT concepts. Your ability to work independently and collaboratively will be essential in driving key ICT initiatives forward.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (ITE qualification or diploma considered)
  • Strong ICT knowledge and experience in multimedia or media
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Possess a valid MOE-IRS Registration
  • Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
