Job Summary:
WEB SYNERGIES (S) PTE LTD is seeking a skilled Solution Architect to drive architectural thinking and engagement with agile squads. The ideal candidate will align architecture plans and solution design with business objectives, develop and maintain solution architecture road maps, and articulate key elements of proposed solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Drive architectural thinking and engagement with agile squads and align architecture plans and solution design with business objectives
• Work extensively with agile pods to drive containerization, cloud, and digitalization strategies
• Develop and maintain solution architecture road maps for credit origination
• Articulate key elements of proposed solutions for the system, including upstream/downstream and surrounding system impacts
• Present solution architecture and designs, including their benefits and drawbacks, to senior stakeholders
• Assess proposed solutions for appropriateness and adherence to architecture principles and roadmap
• Work with internal and external technology partners to assess scope of technology changes needed for new projects and devise solution architecture options
• Provide cost-effective solution options for business requirements in line with architecture principles
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and best practices for systems and interfaces
• Present solution designs to technology governance committees as part of the project approval process

Desired Skills:
• Strongly desired competencies include language-agnostic skills, with a focus on Java/J2EE, Spring, Struts, Hibernate, and cloud solutions such as OpenShift or Azure
• Hands-on skills in J2EE specifications like JAX-RS, JAX-WS, and container management using tools like Docker, Rocket, and Drawbridge
• Experience with elastic scaling using tools like Nginx, HAProxy, or PAAS like OpenShift, and dynamic discovery using tools like Zookeeper or Etcd
• Familiarity with configuration management using tools like Zookeeper, Etcd, Spring, Puppet/Chef, Ansible, and continuous integration using tools like Maven and Jenkins
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, Oracle or SQL Server PL/SQL development, and designing data models
• Understanding of continuous build concepts and usage with Maven, SonarQube, or other related tools
• Experience with web services, API design, and defining specifications using Swagger/RAML
• Good to have experience in containerization technologies like Kubernetes
