About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Specialist to join our team at STMICROELECTRONICS PTE LTD. As an Equipment Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Real-time Production Line Support: Provide timely and effective support to resolve equipment or process problems that do not respond to normal methods.
  • Equipment Performance Tracking: Monitor equipment performance using SPC, eSTAR alarms, and cause stoppages to initiate action plans.
  • Diagnostic Techniques: Recommend and use special tools and test equipment to diagnose complex system failures.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and approve PM procedures and checklists to improve operational performance of equipment.
  • Consumables and Spare Parts Management: Plan and manage consumables and spare parts to ensure equipment availability.
  • FMEA and Root Cause Analysis: Perform FMEA on critical equipment or processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Training and Development: Train AME personnel to troubleshoot tool issues and maintain equipment uptime.
  • Cost Reduction Initiatives: Identify and drive cost reduction projects to optimize production efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Skills: Good analytical and creative problem-solving skills, high degree of interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
