Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Scientist to join our innovative Video Intelligence Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer vision, machine learning, and deep learning technologies. As an AI Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting research and experiments to explore, customize, and enhance AI models and agentic solutions for video analytics applications.

About the Role:
- Conduct in-depth research and develop novel deep learning models to address challenging video analytics problems such as camouflage person detection, fine-grained object recognition, and dense crowd counting.
- Explore, customize, and enhance state-of-the-art Generative AI models (e.g., Large Language Models (LLMs), Vision Language Models (VLMs) for innovative video analytics applications such as video captioning and activity recognition.
- Develop algorithms for large-scale model serving and achieve required accuracy and performance within hardware limitations.
- Collaborate with our Data and Engineering teams to efficiently develop, seamlessly integrate, and reliably deploy AI models into production systems.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
- At least one-year of experience in computer vision projects or video analytics-related industry.
- Robust knowledge in machine learning, neural network, deep learning, and generative AI technologies to be able to study, utilize, and customize them.
- Experience and possess fundamental understandings about deep learning and transformer architectures.
- Knowledge about model quantization and performance optimization.
- Experience with at least one deep learning framework such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Python, C/C++, etc.
- Self-motivated with strong passions in video analytics or deep learning and generative AI in general.
- Good interpersonal skills with ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Milestone awareness.
- Master or Ph.D. degree in computer science or related technical field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be appreciated.
