About the Role



We are seeking an enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to join our Public Relations and Insights team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for facilitating basic account service requirements, assisting in local insight generation, research and pitch development, media relations, daily media monitoring and reporting, update & maintenance of media database, press releases/media invites, event management, and brainstorming of creative ideas.



Key Responsibilities




  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize deadlines effectively.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond promptly to queries and requests from clients and colleagues.
  • Assist in organizing events, press conferences & product launches, and liaise with 3rd party suppliers.
  • Brainstorm and develop innovative ideas for PR campaigns, social media engagement, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify trends, insights, and best practices in the industry.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring up-to-date information on media contacts, pitches, and client interactions.
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage stakeholders and promote brand awareness.


Requirements and Qualifications



To succeed in this role, you should possess:




  • A degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas simply and clearly.
  • A proven track record of working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and prioritizing deadlines effectively.
  • A strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and databases.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, providing exceptional customer service and responding promptly to queries and requests from clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital tools, with the ability to develop and implement effective communication strategies.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results under pressure.

Ogilvy offers a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide:
