Responsibilities:
  • Develop and review architectural and engineering plans to ensure that our buildings meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Oversee the installation and maintenance of essential building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure seamless project execution from conception to completion.
  • Ensure that all building designs and constructions comply with local, state, and federal codes, as well as industry standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, assess compliance with design specifications, and address any issues.
  • Implement energy-efficient practices and technologies to optimize building performance and sustainability.
  • Develop maintenance schedules and procedures for building systems to ensure longevity and operational efficiency.
  • Assist in budget preparation and cost estimation for construction projects, ensuring that financial resources are used effectively.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues related to building systems, providing timely solutions to minimize disruption.
  • Maintain detailed records of building designs, modifications, maintenance activities, and compliance documentation for accountability.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Design Engineer in a construction or healthcare project.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and structural design software (ETABS, SAP2000).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise confidently with stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of producing accurate work under tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to relocate to Hong Kong during project duration.
