Academic Position in Social Sciences

Singapore NTU (Nanyang Technology University- Main Office-HR) Part time

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-time Lecturer to join our team at the School of Social Sciences, Sociology Programme. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses, proposing new courses or teaching existing ones, conducting lectures, seminars, tutorials, and assessments, as well as grading course assessments and exam scripts.

Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging lectures and seminars
  • Develop and conduct tutorials and assessments for courses
  • Grade course assessments and exam scripts
  • Contribute to the development of new courses and programs

The successful candidate will have a PhD degree in social sciences and at least 1-2 years of teaching experience at a tertiary level with excellent teaching evaluation. Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents are preferred.

  • PhD degree in social sciences
  • At least 1-2 years of teaching experience at a tertiary level
  • Excellent teaching evaluation
