As a key member of the engineering team at Changi Airport, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our Mechanical Systems, including air-conditioning systems, chiller plants, air handling units, mechanical ventilation systems, and more.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of these systems, which is critical to the smooth operation of our airport.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage Mechanical & Electrical Operations and Maintenance Contracts
  2. Carry out end-of-life projects and implement improvement/replacement works at Changi Airport
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to manage work processes and minimize impact on airport operations
  4. Review existing work procedures and suggest enhancements and improvements
  5. Conduct studies and implement innovative solutions to improve efficiency and productivity
  6. Develop predictive maintenance regimes and condition monitoring of equipment
  7. Collaborate with local academia and companies to stay up-to-date with new technologies and materials
  8. Participate in digitization and innovation initiatives, including Reliability Centered Maintenance Analysis
  9. Ensure adherence to quality standards, health & safety regulations, and administrative tasks such as reporting and budgeting

Requirements:

  1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  2. At least 3 years of experience in air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems
  3. Knowledge of M&E maintenance practices and efficiency standards
  4. Analytical problem-solving skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a high motivation for work excellence
  6. Able to interpret technical drawings
  7. Knowledge of IT network and Power BI is an advantage
