A key role exists for an experienced Professional in Electrical/Electronic Engineering to join our Academic Staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industry practices and engineering principles, with extensive hands-on experience in design, modelling & analysis of conventional power, wind & solar farms.

Job Description
  • Design and teach labs & practice modules to students.
  • Mentor students in Capstone Projects and the Integrated Work Study Programme (IWSP).
  • Lead or co-lead innovation projects with industry.
  • Manage labs and equipment to support academic programmes and applied research.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Create engaging learning environments through authentic industry perspectives.
  • Collaborate with faculty to develop central policies and processes for laboratory safety and operation.
Requirements
  • A good degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related fields.
  • Deep technical specialist with 10 or more years of working experience in Electrical/Electronics Engineering environment.
  • Hands-on competence in high voltage switching, engineering design, transmission & distribution substations, electrical distribution systems, power system protection application and relay coordination, digital/analogue/power electronics, IoT/Micro-controller application.

The selected candidate will contribute significantly to the development of student skills and knowledge in the field of Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
