Job Title: Physical Education Assistant

Description:

This role provides an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to the development and success of our students.

We are seeking a highly qualified and enthusiastic Physical Education Assistant to support the PE & Health Department in ensuring that each student reaches their full potential.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To assist with administrative tasks in the PE & Health Department as directed by the Head of PE.
  • To conduct equipment audits and ensure all equipment is stored securely and appropriately.
  • To assist in lessons as directed by the Head of PE & Health.
  • To establish discipline and good pupil management, ensuring a suitable atmosphere in which students can work.
  • To support the PE & Health department in promoting physical education and health awareness among students.
  • To maintain a professional attitude towards students and colleagues.
  • To communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues by responding promptly to letters, emails and queries, and attending relevant meetings.
Safeguarding:
  • To abide by the school's safeguarding policy and keep abreast of any changes.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Dependable team player.
  • Outstanding time management skills.
