Job Description

An ERP systems analyst will be responsible for analyzing and improving IT application systems and processes to optimize performance and efficiency. This includes managing application change requests and assisting in project management to ensure seamless implementation.

The analyst will also develop, configure, and test AX functions, web services, and interfaces between application systems, including coding and algorithm development. Additionally, they will customize and configure workflow to facilitate ERP integration with other applications, ensuring smooth data exchange.

Another key responsibility is troubleshooting user problems and needs, identifying root causes and determining possible solutions to resolve issues. The analyst will also provide ongoing support and enhancements for Microsoft Dynamics AX, Metabase BI, and mobile interface applications, collaborating with users to implement changes and improvements.

Any ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time are also part of the role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need a diploma or degree in computer science or a related IT discipline, with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, supporting, and administering ERP solutions on Microsoft Dynamics AX (version 2012 and above).

Strong understanding of SQL Server and associated reporting services, as well as experience with X++ and .NET development, are highly desirable. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask efficiently are also essential.

Self-motivation and ability to work independently and collaboratively are also necessary. Willingness to work outside office hours as necessary is also expected.
