About the Role

A LIFE BY DESIGN HOLDINGS PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly skilled Part-Time HR Manager to join our team. This role will oversee all human resource functions, ensuring seamless execution of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies, encompassing job postings, interview processes, and candidate selection.
  • Prepare and implement employment contracts, onboarding plans, and orientation programs for new hires.
  • Maintain accurate personnel records, contracts, and compliance documents.
  • Manage employee benefits, including insurance plans and wellness initiatives.
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of required HR documentation, such as work passes and compliance reports.
Employee Relations and Support
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding HR-related queries and concerns.
  • Foster a positive workplace environment through engagement activities and addressing employee issues.
  • Assist with leave management, including sick leave, maternity leave, and vacation scheduling, in coordination with finance.
Policy and Compliance
  • Develop, update, and implement HR policies, aligning them with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, including work passes and contracts.
  • Support the preparation and review of the company handbook, ensuring clarity and relevance.
Performance Management and Development
  • Support the performance review process by assisting managers in setting objectives and preparing appraisal forms.
  • Recommend and coordinate employee training and development programs to enhance skills and growth.
  • Monitor and address performance issues, escalating to management where necessary.
Additional Duties
  • Provide administrative support to the leadership team, including meeting arrangements, minute-taking, and travel coordination.
  • Assist with ad-hoc HR-related projects or initiatives as assigned by management.
Requirements and Skills
  • Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of HR management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and best practices, particularly in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Experience with HR software (e.g., Quick HR or similar platforms).
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Ability to prioritize important projects, manage workloads independently, and maintain discretion and confidentiality.
Working Conditions

This part-time role comes with flexible office hours, typically two days per week (Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM). The estimated monthly salary for this position ranges between SGD 2,320 and SGD 3,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
