Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Culinary Officer to oversee the kitchen operations for all our restaurants within YK3 PTE. LTD.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for controlling and directing the food preparation process, constructing menus, and overseeing the kitchen operation. Additionally, they will plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified shortages, arrange for repairs when necessary, and remedy any problems or defects. The ideal candidate will also manage and train kitchen staff, oversee the work of subordinates, maintain records of payroll and attendance, foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers, assess condition of food and presentation before serving, check food while cooking to stir or turn, ensure kitchen equipment is operated safely by team members, keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen, check quality of ingredients, ensure all food and other items are stored properly, understand and comply with Halal food requirements, and perform any other duties as assigned by Management.

Key Responsibilities

* Control and direct the food preparation process
* Construct menus or existing culinary creations ensuring variety and quality of servings
* Oversee kitchen operation for all restaurants within the company
* Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified shortages
* Arrange for repairs when necessary
* Remedy any problems or defects
* Manage and train kitchen staff
* Oversee the work of subordinates
* Maintain records of payroll and attendance
* Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. You should have experience in kitchen management, food safety, and inventory control. Additionally, you should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and have a high level of attention to detail. You will also need to be familiar with Halal food requirements and have a good understanding of food preparation and presentation.

Salary

The salary for this position is estimated at $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
