Job Summary

UES HOLDINGS PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly skilled Process Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing process and mechanical systems for water and wastewater treatment plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Design: Develop process designs for water and wastewater treatment plants, including mass balance, process flow diagrams, P&IDs, equipment layout, and sizing calculations.
  • Technical Coordination: Collaborate with other disciplines, including BIM modeling teams, to ensure seamless design, installation, and testing & commissioning work.
  • Vendor Management: Review and provide technical input on equipment/system vendors' proposals and submissions during procurement, detailed design, and installation stages.
  • Submission and Review: Prepare and submit process/mechanical designs and resubmissions to project consultants and clients, ensuring timely completion and clearance of submittal comments.
  • Equipment Management: Manage equipment suppliers/subcontractors to meet project schedules for design, installation, and testing & commissioning.
  • Testing and Commissioning: Support testing and commissioning work to ensure smooth plant operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in process/mechanical design for water/wastewater treatment plants. Senior positions require at least 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Skills: Familiarity with relevant standards and Singapore code of practice. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work well with people at all levels.
  • Computer Literacy: Advanced computer literacy in MS Office and proficiency in Naviswork and Bentley View Software.
