About the Role
  • This role will involve driving improvements in vessel performance through data analysis and strategic recommendations.
  • You will be responsible for monitoring vessel performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing actionable insights to optimize fuel efficiency and reduce emissions.
  • Collaboration with chartering and operations teams is crucial to ensure that deployment strategies are aligned with performance data.
Responsibilities
  1. Monitor vessel performance, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  2. Analyse voyage performance, fuel consumption, speed profiles and machinery efficiency to identify variances from benchmarks.
  3. Recommend operational adjustments to enhance fuel efficiency and reduce emissions.
  4. Collaborate with chartering and operations to align deployment strategies with performance data.
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience with digital fleet performance tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret large datasets into actionable insights.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in ship performance monitoring or technical operations.

Benchmark vessel performance against peer fleet and industry standards to highlight improvement opportunities.

What You'll Need
  • Proficiency in MS Office, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and reporting systems.
  • Familiarity with IMO regulations (EEXI, CII, SEEMP) and emission reduction strategies.
