Project Manager Leadership Role

This leadership position oversees the management of project portfolios to align with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading project management offices (PMOs) and large ICT portfolios.

  • Serve as the strategic leader for the PMO team, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategy.
  • Develop and enhance PMO frameworks, governance, methodologies, and best practices to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee project delivery, focusing on timeliness, quality standards, and budget control.
  • Drive portfolio prioritization, resource allocation, and capacity planning to optimize project outcomes.
  • Manage financial accountability and maximize value from investments.
  • Provide executive reporting on performance, risks, and benefits realization.
  • Mentor and develop PMO managers and project teams to build future-ready capability.
  • Champion risk, change, and stakeholder management across all initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence.
Requirements:
  • 10–12 years of experience in IT Project/Program Management, with 5+ years leading PMOs or large ICT portfolios.
  • A proven track record in establishing and scaling PMOs with strong governance and stakeholder management.
  • Business acumen in P&L management, budgeting, and strategic planning.
  • Strong leadership, people management, and executive stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing ability.
  • Advanced problem-solving and decision-making in complex environments.
  • Knowledge of networking, cloud, and security, aligning technical delivery to business needs.
  • Relevant certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, PgMP, ITIL v4, PMI-ACP, MSP, or equivalent).
