Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Food Production Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our central kitchen. The successful candidate will assist in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality food products while maintaining compliance with safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in day-to-day operations of the central kitchen, ensuring smooth workflow and timely food production.
  • Supervise and lead a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas and ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage food supplies to ensure proper stock rotation and cost control.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to order and maintain necessary ingredients and kitchen equipment.
  • Develop and implement processes to optimize kitchen operations, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
  • Maintain strong communication with other departments to ensure timely delivery and smooth coordination of orders.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Proven experience in a central kitchen or large-scale food production environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
Working Conditions:
  • Full-time, on-site role in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • May require working flexible hours, including weekends.
