This role involves coordinating and preparing surgical equipment, instruments, and consumables for daily surgical lists. You will participate in assisting safe anaesthetic care for general, regional, and deep sedation anaesthesia, and perform scrubbing, circulating, and recovery duties.
As a key member of our team, you will provide pre & post-operative care for patients, carry out proper housekeeping in accordance with Infection Control Standards, and update work processes accurately in the digital operating theatre system.
You will also conduct inventory checks on medication supplies and consumables in the assigned work area, and timely escalate and submit documented Incident Reporting Forms to Nurse Clinicians or Senior Nurse Managers.
The ideal candidate should possess a Diploma in Nursing, be registered with the Singapore Nursing Board, and have at least 2 years of experience in healthcare operating theatre settings.
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, proactive and supportive in carrying out new initiatives, good interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role.
We offer a competitive 5.25 work week (alternate Saturday) and require our staff to be able to work overtime during high patient volumes, as well as be on-call duty on weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
