Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Teacher Aide to join our team at ST ANDREW'S MISSION HOSPITAL. As a Teacher Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting our teachers in delivering high-quality education to our students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Teachers in Lesson Preparation

Assist teachers in planning and implementing lesson plans, including conducting small group teaching and providing individualized support to students.

  • Monitor Student Progress

Support teachers in collecting data on student behavior and progress, and contribute to the development of individualized goals and objectives.

  • Classroom Management

Collaborate with teachers to maintain a safe and organized classroom environment, and assist with planning and implementing student behavior plans.

  • Communication and Liaison

Liaise with external stakeholders, including families and community partners, to facilitate administrative processes and ensure the well-being and safety of our students.

Requirements
  • Qualifications

Possess at least a Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education or a related field. Prior experience as a Teacher Aide or in teaching is an added advantage.

  • Skills and Abilities

Energetic and passionate about working with children with autism. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to problem-solve and organize effectively.

  • Personal Qualities

Desire to learn about autism and the patience to teach special needs students. Passion to help special needs students maximize their talents and potential.
