Job Title: Assembly Operations Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Assembly Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of mechanical assembly operations in support of production projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and modify production components utilizing drawing, pick tickets, process documentation, and/or verbal instruction;
  • Prepare and utilize basic hand tools and machines including but not limited to power screwdriver, ruler, solder iron, clamp machine, heat gun, solder pot, crimpers, pinning machine, and automatic wire strippers;
  • Clean parts prior to production use as required;
  • Identify wires with the usage of the basic color code sequence;
  • Participate in first-time production runs of new products;
  • Support cycle count activity, inventory handling, and inventory transactions following established material procedures;
  • Participate in continuous improvement and team-building activities; maintain productive working relationships with all team members;
  • Possess and maintain thorough knowledge of machines and techniques in this industry and/or similar industries;
  • Meet daily production output & quality requirements;
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience;
  • Excellent understanding of mechanical assembly operations and manufacturing processes;
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills;
  • Ability to learn new machinery and techniques quickly;
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations.
