Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled instructor to teach Tamil language elective courses at the beginner and intermediate levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Tamil language, literature, or culture, and experience in curriculum design and management.

Teaching Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging and effective lesson plans, grading assignments, and providing feedback to students. They will also be required to participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of course materials.

Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Tamil Language or equivalent
  • A native speaker or a speaker with high proficiency of the Tamil Language
  • Experience in curriculum design and management
  • Knowledge in the application of IT in language teaching
  • At least 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in higher education
