Expert System Analyst for Application Development

Our company is seeking an experienced System Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in the development and enhancement of applications.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in system analysis and integration, with experience in coding, scripting, and building new systems. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with senior developers and system architects to formulate technical solutions that meet all security, regulatory, and architectural standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for requirement analysis, effort estimation, application solution design for Cards Core Issuing and acquiring application processes.
  • Lead discussions with business and IT teams, prepare technical requirements/solution traceability, functional design, and work closely with functional Business Analysts, Architects, and end-users in the development & enhancement of applications.
  • Prepare functional solution documents and present to stakeholders to get sign-off.
  • Work with technical teams and prepare or review technical interface specifications.
  • Review detailed technical designs, codes, and test strategies, test results, and identify defects.
  • Guide testers/users in cards parameter setup for new businesses and guide them through the end-to-end reconciliation process.
  • Support system integration, user acceptance, regression/performance testing - work closely with testers and business users to ensure coverage of critical and important functions.
  • Provide post-implementation support and identify risks to escalate.
Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, and at least 8+ years of System Analysis work and equivalent Cards Functional Domain experience, preferably with 8+ years of working experience in Cardlink/Vision Plus.

Essential skills include good developer experience, system integration/interfacing knowledge, and effective documentation and transfer of work to production teams.

Additionally, you should have in-depth technical skills in CICS COBOL, COBOL batch, JCLs, Easytrieve, VSAM, JCL, OPC, and other mainframe utilities.
