About this role

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Senior Investment Risk Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investment analysis, risk management, and portfolio oversight. They should possess excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and present it in a clear and concise manner.

  • Conduct comprehensive risk analyses on portfolios and funds, identifying potential Market, Credit, Liquidity, and Environmental risks
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to mitigate identified risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines
  • Collaborate with the Head of Investment Analysis & Control to develop and review governance frameworks related to investment risk management
  • Analyze investment risks associated with new products or instruments, providing assessments to the Product Approval Committee
  • Work closely with the team to transition processes, reports, and analytics to a new risk system

Requirements for success in this role include:

  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in multi-asset portfolio risk, performance, and attribution
  • Direct experience with private assets, such as Private Equity, Venture Capital, Real Estate, or Private Credit
  • Strong working knowledge of widely used risk and performance systems, including BRS Aladdin and Bloomberg
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python and R, with experience using libraries for data manipulation and statistical analysis
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences
  • Proactive and team-oriented approach, with a willingness to collaborate and contribute to the growth and development of the team
