About the Role
Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is looking for a Senior Lecturer in Physics and Applied Physics. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading research in Quantum Science and Technology, participating in scientific activities to enhance NTU's reputation, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, performing academic supervision, and undertaking administrative and/or leadership roles.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in research, a proven track record of securing funding, and excellent teaching and mentoring skills.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead research teams in Quantum Science and Technology.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality teaching materials for undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
  • Supervise undergraduate and graduate students in their research projects.
  • Contribute to the development of research proposals and secure funding from external sources.
  • Provide administrative support to the Division of Physics and Applied Physics.
Essential Qualifications:
  • PhD in Physics or a related discipline.
  • Strong record of research and publication in reputable international journals.
  • Proven ability to secure competitive research grants.
  • Excellent teaching and mentoring skills.
