A Clinical Research Associate Position in a Healthcare Setting
Roles & Responsibilities:
As a clinical research associate, you will be involved in various tasks such as subject recruitment, scheduling and data entry. You will screen patients based on study eligibility, communicate the study aims to potential subjects in layman terms, obtain consent taking, administer study questionnaires and follow up on study participants. You will work closely with research team, clinicians, clinic staff and other relevant internal departments to ensure research study needs are met.
Research Documentation / Administrative duties:
- Conduct patient recruitment activities, collect and manage data, maintain study records in databases and electronic health record systems.
- Assist in data collection from electronic health records, set up and maintain study investigator files.
- Responsible for maintaining strict adherence to research protocols, liaise with investigators and laboratory team to set up clinical workflows at multiple clinical departments.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have a minimum degree in life sciences or a similar field. The candidate should possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. They should also be familiar with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in healthcare and research settings.
