Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Job Description

As a senior financial analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our company's financial reports. You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing journal entries, income statements, balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and any other financial reports on a regular basis.

  • Prepare and analyze journal entries, income statements, balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and any other financial reports on a regular basis.
  • Manage the preparation of company budgets and establish reasons for variances.
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure accurate and timely collection and monitoring of cost estimates and prepare and analyze project costing and variances.
  • Handle financial reporting, banking & treasury, tax, GST, audit, corporate secretarial matters, and government and statutory reporting.
  • Evaluate financial reporting systems and accounting policies and work processes and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist in the oversight of Finance Department.
  • Assist with special projects/assignments/ad hoc duties.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Accountancy/ACCA/Chartered Accountant/CPA preferably with ACCA, CPA, ISCA, etc.
  • At least 5 years' experience in handling the above functions and full set of accounts in commercial sector.
  • Knowledge of SAP (R3).
  • Good knowledge in Corporate Tax, Financial Reporting Standards, GST, and Tax Laws.
  • Hands-on experience in project costing and accounts consolidation will be an advantage.
