Job Description:

A Chinese Language Teacher is responsible for planning and conducting lessons to students of Chinese language, focusing on developing their skills in standard Mandarin. The teacher must be able to foster a joyful and supportive learning environment and inspire student passion in learning Chinese.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chinese Language Teaching, Chinese Studies, Education, or any Chinese-related field from a recognized university;
  • Masters/PhD in relevant fields are advantageous;
  • Previous working experiences in an education centre/MOE school are advantageous;
  • Familiarity with Singapore MOE Chinese standards and methods;
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to use expressive, performance-based teaching methods;
  • Effective classroom management skills;
  • A warm and engaging personality with the energy and enthusiasm needed to deliver dynamic and interactive lessons.
